Color Hoser

Cards aimed at a single color, hosing one specific part of the color pie by destroying its lands, countering or destroying its spells, or punishing its presence. Choke keeps Islands from untapping, Boil destroys all Islands outright, Pyroblast counters or destroys blue spells and permanents, and Compost rewards you whenever a black card hits an opponent's graveyard. Carpet of Flowers and Insight key off an opponent's Islands or green spells respectively. Distinct from Creature Hoser, which restricts creatures by power or toughness regardless of color, and from Spell Punisher, which taxes or drains for casting spells of any color rather than singling out one.
