Cost Reducer

Permanents whose static abilities shave generic mana off the cost of casting spells, letting you deploy more each turn. Goblin Electromancer trims instants and sorceries, Sapphire Medallion cuts every blue spell, and Urza's Incubator and Herald's Horn discount creatures of a chosen type. Groups Spell Cost Reducer, the narrower set covering only instant and sorcery discounts. Distinct from Ability Cost Reducer, which lowers activation costs of abilities rather than the cost to cast spells, and from Cost Alternative, where you swap the mana cost entirely for an alternative payment.
