Spell Cost Reducer

Permanents whose static or scaling effect makes the instant and sorcery spells you cast cost generic mana less, fueling spellslinger and storm decks. Goblin Electromancer and Baral, Chief of Compliance each shave {1}, Jace's Sanctum does the same from an enchantment, and Mizzix of the Izmagnus scales by experience counters for explosive late-game spell chains. Narrower subset of Cost Reducer, the umbrella for permanents that trim generic mana off any spell type; this view covers only the instant-and-sorcery reducers. Distinct from Ability Cost Reducer, which cheapens activated-ability costs rather than spell costs.
