Can't Lose the Game

Cards whose text switches off a loss: the Platinum Angel line ('You can't lose the game and your opponents can't win the game', also Gideon of the Trials, Herald of Eternal Dawn, The Book of Exalted Deeds), the Phyrexian Unlife and Lich family ('You don't lose the game for having 0 or less life', Lich's Mastery, Soul Echo), and the one-turn instant version (Angel's Grace). The Ad Nauseam combo and the Lich decks are built on these. Distinct from Alternate Win, the printed 'you win the game' (Approach of the Second Sun), and from Fog and Protection Spell, which prevent damage rather than the loss itself.
