Opponent Discard

Hand disruption that makes an opponent discard, whether you pick the card or they pitch at random. Thoughtseize and Inquisition of Kozilek reveal a hand and let you choose a card to discard, Duress targets noncreature cards, Hymn to Tourach forces two random discards, and Liliana of the Veil grinds both players down each turn. These strip threats and answers before they ever hit the stack. Distinct from Discard Outlet, where YOU discard your own cards as a cost, and Discard Payoff, which rewards you for discarding; this set is about emptying the OPPONENT's hand.
