Damage Amplifier

Static replacement effects that scale up the damage dealt by sources you control, turning every burn spell, ping, and combat hit into a multiple of its printed value. Fiery Emancipation and City on Fire triple your damage; Gratuitous Violence, Angrath's Marauders, and Solphim, Mayhem Dominus double it; Gisela, Blade of Goldnight doubles the damage you deal opponents while halving what you take; Furnace of Rath and Dictate of the Twin Gods double all damage symmetrically. Torbran, Thane of Red Fell adds a flat +2 to each red source's damage rather than multiplying, and Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might raises small noncombat hits up to its power; both are damage-scaling engines the archetype covers. Distinct from removal.burn, which is a one-shot damage spell rather than a multiplier, from removal.pinger, which is a repeatable damage source (the thing being amplified, not the amplifier), and from removal.redirect, which reroutes damage without increasing it. A card that merely deals a large fixed amount is not an amplifier; the effect must replace an incoming damage event with a larger one.
