Scry

Cards with the scry keyword peek at a set number of cards on top of your library and let you bottom any you don't want, filtering toward the cards you need. Preordain and Opt scry then draw, Serum Visions draws then scries, and permanents like Crystal Ball, Sigiled Starfish, and Thassa, God of the Sea offer repeatable scry. Distinct from Library Manipulation, which reorders the top of the library without forcing cards to the bottom, and from Looting, which draws then discards to fill the graveyard. Scry only ever sends unwanted cards to the bottom, never to the graveyard.
