Magecraft

Permanents with the magecraft ability, which triggers each time you cast or copy an instant or sorcery spell. The payoff varies: Archmage Emeritus draws a card, Storm-Kiln Artist makes a Treasure token, Sedgemoor Witch makes a Pest token, and Clever Lumimancer pumps itself. The defining feature is that copying a spell also triggers it, not just casting. Distinct from Spell Payoff, whose triggers fire only on the cast event and never on copies; magecraft is the strictly broader trigger that also counts copied spells. Also distinct from Spell Copy, which produces the extra copies that magecraft can reward.
