Flicker Spell

One-shot instants and sorceries that exile a creature or permanent you control and return it to the battlefield, either immediately or at end of turn, retriggering enter-the-battlefield abilities, dodging targeted removal, or resetting auras and counters. Examples include Ephemerate, Cloudshift, Ghostly Flicker, and Eerie Interlude, with some offering repeat use via rebound or flashback. Distinct from Flicker Permanent, which provides the same exile-and-return effect from a recurring permanent rather than a single spell, and from Ltb Trigger, which rewards permanents leaving the battlefield rather than blinking them back.
