ETB Payoff

Cards with a triggered ability that fires whenever another permanent enters under your control and turns each arrival into value: life (Soul Warden, Essence Warden), damage (Impact Tremors, Purphoros, God of the Forge), cards (Guardian Project, Mentor of the Meek), removal (Aura Shards), counters (Cathars' Crusade), copies (Minion Reflector), or mill (Altar of the Brood). Token decks, blink decks, and creature-heavy aggro all lean on these; Pandemonium counts even though it is symmetric, because the trigger is the reason to play it. Distinct from ETB Trigger, which fires when the permanent ITSELF enters, and from Landfall, which owns the land half of the same mechanic. Co-fires with Constellation on enchantment payoffs, with Artifact Payoff on artifact payoffs, and with Token Payoff when tokens are the subject. Symmetric punishers (Aether Flash), Graft reminder text, and 'enters tapped' enablers (Amulet of Vigor) are not included.
