Filter Land

Two-color lands that filter one mana into two of better-fitting colors. You tap them with another mana already paid, and they return two mana in their guild's color pair, smoothing awkward color requirements. Canonical examples include Mystic Gate, Skycloud Expanse, and Shadowblood Ridge, spanning the hybrid-activation Shadowmoor cycle and the generic-activation Odyssey cycle. Distinct from Bounce Land, which adds two mana but requires returning a land to hand, and from Pain Land, which adds one mana at the cost of life. All filter lands sit under the broader Mana Fixer umbrella as a color-smoothing tool rather than a net-ramp source.
