Lands whose own activated ability sacrifices the land to search your library for another land and put it onto the battlefield, thinning your deck and fixing colors. Flooded Strand and Scalding Tarn pay 1 life to grab an untapped dual or basic of the right types; Evolving Wilds and Prismatic Vista fetch any basic, the former entering tapped and the latter paying 1 life for an untapped one. Krosan Verge and Myriad Landscape grab two lands at once. Distinct from Shock Land and Dual Land, which are the untapped two-color lands these effects often retrieve rather than search for lands themselves, and broader than Mana Fixer in the sense that fetching matters for deck thinning and shuffle effects, not only color access.
