Recursion
Returns cards from the graveyard back to your hand for a second use, the bread-and-butter of grindy value decks. Regrowth and Seasons Past retrieve any card, Eternal Witness and Archaeomancer staple a graveyard-to-hand trigger onto a body, Gravedigger brings back a creature, and Genesis returns creatures from the graveyard on each upkeep. Umbrella for the type-specific siblings: Land Recursion, Artifact Recursion, and Enchantment Recursion all return their respective card types and co-fire here when the return lands in hand. Distinct from reanimation effects that return cards directly to the battlefield rather than to hand, and from graveyard-casting like flashback that leaves the card in the graveyard until cast.
