Planeswalker Removal

Spells and abilities that can take down an opposing planeswalker, whether by destroying it outright or by dealing it enough damage. Hero's Downfall, Dreadbore, and Bedevil destroy target planeswalkers directly, The Elderspell wipes any number at once, and damage with an "any target" line like Lightning Bolt and Lightning Helix can point at a planeswalker too. Note that since 2018 damage no longer redirects to a planeswalker; the spell must be able to target it, so "any target" burn qualifies while damage that only reads "target creature" does not. A narrower view of Spot Removal, restricted to answers that can hit planeswalkers; broad sweepers that destroy every nonland permanent and thus catch planeswalkers belong with Board Wipe.
