Planeswalker Prevention

Cards that protect your planeswalkers from removal and targeted damage, typically by granting hexproof to your permanents or specifically to your planeswalkers. Privileged Position gives hexproof to all permanents you control, and Shalai, Voice of Plenty extends hexproof to you, your creatures, and your planeswalkers. Since damage no longer redirects to planeswalkers, opponents must explicitly target them, so a hexproof blanket stops both targeted burn and targeted removal. Distinct from Protection Spell, an instant-speed save that usually shields only creatures, and from Fog, which prevents combat damage for a turn rather than guarding a specific permanent type.
