Pathway

Two-color lands printed as modal double-faced cards where you choose one face as you play it, each face tapping for one color and entering untapped, like Brightclimb Pathway, Riverglide Pathway, and Barkchannel Pathway. The flexibility comes from picking which single color you need at play time rather than from a land that taps for both. Distinct from Dual Land and Shock Land, which are single permanents tapping for either of two colors at once; a pathway gives you only the color of the face you chose. Also separate from Fetch Land, which sacrifices to search out a land instead of being the land itself.
