Modal Spell

Spells whose text offers a menu of bulleted effects and instructs you to choose one or more when casting. Commands like Cryptic Command and Prismari Command say "choose two," charms like Abzan Charm say "choose one," and Escalate spells like Collective Brutality let you pay extra to pick additional options. The flexibility is the draw: one card answers many situations depending on the modes you select. This covers the choose-from-a-list templating only, not creatures with modal enter-the-battlefield or other triggered abilities, and not split or Adventure cards, which use separate halves rather than a choose-one-or-more menu.
