Manifest

Cards that use the Manifest keyword to put the top card of a library, or a card from hand, onto the battlefield face down as a 2/2 creature with no abilities, like Whisperwood Elemental, Mastery of the Unseen, Soul Summons, and Cloudform. If a manifested card is a creature, you can turn it face up at any time by paying its mana cost. Distinct from Morph, where a card is cast face down from hand for {3} and flipped for its printed morph cost, and from Disguise, the ward-bearing evolution of that mechanic; manifest works on any card, not just ones printed with a face-down ability. Cards that reward having face-down creatures belong to Face Down Payoff.
