Cards carrying the Aura subtype, enchantments that enter attached to a target permanent or player and grant ongoing buffs, abilities, or restrictions. Rancor adds power and trample then returns to hand when it leaves, the Umbra cycle like Bear Umbra and Hyena Umbra grant totem armor, and All That Glitters scales the enchanted creature with your artifacts and enchantments. Distinct from Aura Payoff, which covers creatures that grow or draw when an Aura attaches to them rather than the Auras themselves, and broader than Enchantment Payoff, which rewards casting and controlling enchantments generally.
