Extraction

Targeted disruption that hunts a specific card through multiple zones and exiles every copy at once, gutting combo pieces and recursion engines. Surgical Extraction and Extirpate strip a graveyard card from all zones, Lost Legacy and Slaughter Games name a card and exile each copy from library and hand, and Praetor's Grasp digs into an opponent's library to exile a card face down without naming anything. The exile anchor is mandatory: searches that move a found card to hand or onto the battlefield are not here. Distinct from Graveyard Hate, which wipes a graveyard wholesale with no by-name search, and from Exile Removal, which removes a permanent from the battlefield rather than scouring hidden zones.
