Cathars' Crusade stacks a counter on every creature whenever one enters, Mikaeus, the Lunarch taps to grow itself or hand out counters, Gavony Township pumps your team from a land slot, and keyword engines like the bolster on Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit or creatures with the support keyword distribute counters on the spot. Distinct from Counter Doubler, which only amplifies counters another source is already placing, and from Counter Mover, which relocates existing counters rather than creating new ones. Also separate from Counter Payoff, which rewards counters being present rather than putting them there.
