Basic Land

Covers every land printed with the Basic supertype, the foundation of mana bases. This includes the five core lands Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, and Forest, their Snow-Covered counterparts like Snow-Covered Island, and the colorless Wastes, which has no basic land type at all. These are the cards you can run in unlimited copies and the ones fetch effects search for by basic land type. Dual lands and shock lands carry basic land TYPES but lack the Basic supertype, so they are not included here; this set keys on the supertype, not the typeline subtypes.
