Thraben Inspector investigates on enter, Tireless Tracker investigates on every landfall, Bygone Bishop investigates when you cast small creatures, and Confirm Suspicions counters a spell while investigating three times. Distinct from Food Maker and Treasure Maker, which build Food for life or Treasure for ramp; Clues are pure card advantage on a stick. Some of these cards also sacrifice their own Clues for value, which is the consuming role rather than this making role.
