Magecraft

Cards with the Magecraft ability, which triggers whenever you cast or copy an instant or sorcery spell. Archmage Emeritus draws a card, Sedgemoor Witch makes a Pest token, Storm-Kiln Artist creates a Treasure, and Clever Lumimancer pumps itself. Magecraft notably triggers on copies as well as casts, which separates it from older cast-only triggers. Narrower subset of spellslinger.spell_payoff, the broader group for any card rewarding instant and sorcery casts including non-Magecraft prowess and cast triggers. Distinct from spellslinger.spell_copy, which duplicates the spell itself rather than triggering off the cast.
