Shock Land

The Ravnica shock land cycle: nonbasic dual lands that carry two basic land types in their type line and enter tapped unless you pay 2 life, exemplified by Hallowed Fountain, Watery Grave, Stomping Ground, Temple Garden, and Breeding Pool. Their two-basic-type templating makes them findable by fetch lands and check lands while their life-payment clause keeps them honest. Distinct from land_types.dual_land, which also has two basic land types but charges no life and never enters tapped, and from land_types.check_land, which has no basic land types and instead checks for one already in play.
