Cheat Into Play

The 'cheat out' / 'cheat in' enabler: skip the mana cost and the cast entirely by putting a permanent directly onto the battlefield from hand (Sneak Attack, Through the Breach, Elvish Piper, Quicksilver Amulet, Show and Tell, Kaalia of the Vast) or by tutoring it straight into play from the library (Birthing Pod, Natural Order, Tooth and Nail, Green Sun's Zenith, Tinker). The backbone of strategies built around expensive payoffs (Emrakul, Griselbrand, Worldspine Wurm). Distinct from graveyard.reanimation, which comes from the graveyard, and from cascade.free_spell / cascade.cost_alternative, which still cast the spell via a reduced or alternative cost. Pure land ramp ('put a land card from your hand onto the battlefield') is excluded, as are tutors that fetch to hand.
