Creature Copy

Permanents, almost always creatures themselves, that enter the battlefield as a copy of a chosen creature already in play. Clone and Phantasmal Image are the canonical templates, copying any creature on either side; Sakashima of a Thousand Faces and Sakashima's Student extend the pattern with legendary-copy permission and a Ninjutsu route onto the battlefield. Distinct from copy.permanent_copy, which broadens the choice to any nonland permanent including artifacts and planeswalkers, and from copy.token_copy, which mints token duplicates rather than entering as the copy itself. Also separate from spellslinger.spell_copy, which copies instants and sorceries on the stack.
