Artifact Animator

Effects that animate noncreature artifacts into creatures, either temporarily or permanently. Ensoul Artifact and Animate Artifact are classic Auras; March of the Machines and Titania's Song are static board-wide animators; Tezzeret, the Seeker and Karn, Silver Golem use activated abilities; Cyberdrive Awakener animates the team on entry. Distinct from artifacts.artifact_payoff, which rewards having artifacts without changing their type, and from artifacts.artifact_token_maker, which produces fresh artifact creature tokens rather than transforming existing noncreature artifacts. Cards that are already artifact creatures do not qualify.
