Map Maker

Produces Map tokens, the Lost Caverns of Ixalan artifact tokens that tap and sacrifice to make a target creature explore, revealing the top of the library and either putting a land into hand or pumping the creature with a +1/+1 counter. Canonical generators include Spyglass Siren and Cartographer's Companion on entry, Sentinel of the Nameless City on entry or attack, Fanatical Offering as an instant, and Get Lost handing two Maps to the opponent as compensation for exile removal. Distinct from tokens.clue_maker, which produces Clue artifact tokens that sacrifice for a card draw, and from tokens.treasure_maker, whose tokens sacrifice for mana; overlaps with tokens.creature_token_maker only when a card also makes creatures.
