Cheap creatures built to die and come back over and over, feeding sacrifice engines and aristocrat drains with a steady stream of bodies. Reassembling Skeleton pays 1B to return itself, Bloodghast crawls back on landfall, Gravecrawler recasts from the yard with a Zombie out, and Nether Traitor returns whenever another creature dies. Bloodsoaked Champion, Dread Wanderer, and Squee, the Immortal round out the archetype with conditional self-recursion. Distinct from sacrifice.sacrifice_outlet, which provides the activated ability that eats these bodies, and from sacrifice.aristocrat, which is the death-drain payoff that rewards repeatedly killing them. Fodder is the renewable creature itself, not the outlet or the payoff.
