Canonical examples include Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, and The Meathook Massacre, with damage-flavored variants like Judith, the Scourge Diva and Mayhem Devil. Narrower subset of sacrifice.death_trigger, which covers any payoff that fires on creature death; aristocrat specifically requires the payoff to be life loss or direct damage rather than card draw, treasure creation, or forced sacrifice. Distinct from sacrifice.sacrifice_outlet, which provides the kill switch by sacrificing creatures rather than rewarding their deaths.
