Pinger

On-board, every-turn damage sources — the MTG vernacular 'pinger' or 'Tim' (after Prodigal Sorcerer). A creature, artifact, or enchantment with an ACTIVATED ability ('{T}: deals 1 damage to any target', '{B}: deals 1 damage to each creature and each player', 'Remove a +1/+1 counter: deals 1 damage') that the controller can fire at will. This is the repeatable counterpart to removal.burn, which is scoped to one-shot instants and sorceries; pingers grind down X/1 boards and chip at players turn after turn. Excludes planeswalker loyalty abilities (superfriends) and ETB/attack-triggered damage (flicker.etb_damage / combat.attack_trigger), which fire on a schedule rather than on demand.
