Covers steady producers like Smothering Tithe and Pitiless Plunderer, burst makers like Dockside Extortionist and Brass's Bounty, and combat-driven sources like Goldspan Dragon. These cards bank deferred mana on the battlefield rather than producing it directly. Distinct from ramp.mana_rock, which taps artifacts for mana without sacrificing them, and ramp.ritual, which adds mana immediately from an instant or sorcery with no token left behind. Co-fires with tokens.treasure_maker, which is the token-production view of the same cards.
