Mana Dork

Low-cost creatures whose tap ability produces mana, letting green and multicolor decks jump ahead on curve as early as turn two. Llanowar Elves and Elvish Mystic are the one-mana baseline; Birds of Paradise and Noble Hierarch fix any color; Sylvan Caryatid adds hexproof and dual-color fixing at two mana. Distinct from ramp.mana_rock, which covers noncreature artifacts that tap for mana, and from ramp.land_ramp, which puts actual lands onto the battlefield rather than presenting a tappable creature body. Also separate from ramp.ritual one-shot bursts, since dorks stick around as repeatable mana sources vulnerable to creature removal.
