Split Card

Two-spells-on-one-card layouts where each half has its own name, cost, and effect, and the caster picks which side to cast. Includes classic splits like Fire // Ice, Fuse splits like Wear // Tear and Far // Away that let both halves be cast together from hand for the combined cost, and Aftermath splits like Cut // Ribbons whose second half is cast only from the graveyard. Distinct from modal.modal_spell, where a single spell offers a bulleted choose-one menu, and from modal.adventure, where one half is an instant or sorcery attached to a creature card. Also distinct from modal.mdfc_spell_land, which uses a double-faced layout rather than a side-by-side split.
