Adventure cards are creatures printed with a smaller spell side that can be cast first; if it resolves, the card is exiled and the creature half can later be cast from exile. Brazen Borrower bounces a nonland permanent before becoming a flash flyer, Bonecrusher Giant deals 2 damage before landing as a 4/3, Murderous Rider kills a creature or planeswalker before arriving as a 2/3 lifelinker, and Lovestruck Beast makes a 1/1 Human before crashing in as a 5/5. Distinct from modal.split_card, which prints two independently castable halves joined by //, and from modal.modal_spell, which offers a bulleted choose-one menu on a single resolution. The creature side itself is not modal; the flexibility comes from the two-stage cast structure.
