Discard Payoff

Cards with triggered abilities or scaling effects that reward you for discarding cards from your own hand. Archfiend of Ifnir shrinks opponents' boards with -1/-1 counters on each cycle or discard, Drake Haven mints flying tokens, Bone Miser converts discarded cards into mana or draws, and Hollow One gets dramatically cheaper as you discard or cycle through the turn. Distinct from discard.discard_outlet, which provides the activated ability to discard in the first place; the outlet is the engine, the payoff is the trigger that fires when cards leave your hand. Distinct from discard.wheel_payoff, which keys specifically off mass hand-replacement, and discard.opponent_discard, which targets opponents' hands rather than rewarding your own discards.
