Experience Counter

Cards, almost exclusively the Commander 2015 legendary creatures, that give their controller experience counters on a triggered condition and then read that player-tracked count for an escalating effect. Meren of Clan Nel Toth banks experience on creature deaths and reanimates accordingly, Mizzix of the Izmagnus gains experience on instant and sorcery casts to reduce future spell costs, Ezuri, Claw of Progress converts small-creature triggers into stockpiled +1/+1 counters, and Daxos the Returned scales token power by his experience total. Experience counters live on the player, not on permanents, so they survive board wipes and commander recasts. Narrower than counters.counter_placer, which puts +1/+1 counters on creatures; related to but distinct from counters.proliferate, which can add another experience counter to a player who already has one but does not itself generate the initial experience trigger.
