Counter Placer

Cards whose primary function is placing +1/+1 counters on creatures and other permanents, whether through enter-the-battlefield triggers, activated abilities, or counter-distributing keywords like graft, bolster, mentor, support, and outlast. Cathars' Crusade pumps the whole board on every creature ETB; Mikaeus, the Lunarch and Gavony Township slowly grow the team; Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit drops a +1/+1 counter on a creature each ETB; Arcbound Ravager loads itself and redistributes via modular. Distinct from counters.counter_doubler, which amplifies counters that some other source is placing rather than placing them itself, and from counters.counter_mover, which relocates existing counters without creating new ones. Also separate from counters.counter_payoff, which rewards counter density rather than building it.
