Search Hate

Persistent hate pieces that turn off, restrict, or punish the act of searching a library, hosing fetchlands, tutors, and basic-land ramp. Stranglehold and Ashiok, Dream Render flatly forbid opponents from searching; Aven Mindcensor caps any search at the top four cards; Leonin Arbiter taxes searches with a two-mana toll; Opposition Agent hijacks the search and picks the card for them. Ob Nixilis, Unshackled punishes the search with life loss and a Demon. Narrower than control.stax, which denies resources through untap and sacrifice locks; distinct from control.graveyard_prevention, which shuts off the graveyard zone rather than the library-search action.
