Untap Ability

Cards whose effect untaps a target permanent so it can be tapped again the same turn, enabling repeated use of tap-based activated abilities. Voltaic Key untaps an artifact, Kiora's Follower and Aphetto Alchemist untap any artifact or creature, and Thousand-Year Elixir refreshes a creature for another activation. These are core pieces in mana-rock loops, untap-storm shells, and creature-tap combos. Distinct from activated.ability_cost_reducer, which cheapens activations rather than refreshing them, and from activated.ability_copy, which duplicates the result of one activation rather than enabling a second tap. Blanket untappers that refresh all your permanents each turn belong with broader untap-everything effects rather than targeted untap.
